i can't believe stan's meltdown in the 3rd set. nole didn't even have to try in the 3rd.

such a fucking shame, and endlessly frustrating too, because stan was the better player for the most part of the 1st and 2nd set, until nole broke him back and then won the tiebreak. he was so close to winning it in 2. aaaagh.

why is stan always a headcase when faced in this situation against the top players? it's so frustrating, because he's more than able to make an upset, but it's always, always like this.

so fucking frustrated. and there goes my federinka dream final.

stan, here's hoping that 2010 will be many times more horror-free than this year. gah.

I don't know if i still want to watch roger match now. i know i kind of expect stan to lose against nole, but the way the match went and the way he lost it just make me... AGH. anyway. roger shouldn't have any problem with his match, he should be fine until final.

My brother bought the dvd (because it isn't released in theaters here, high adult rating and what nots) and i started the movie expecting it to be a slapstic kind of movie.

it turned out to be a great laugh XD! seriously I laughed non stop. the comic timing is genius and the over dramatic scenes was hilarious! Robert Downey jr is terrific as usual and jeebus, i totally didn't expect tom cruise to be that balding, fat, foul mouthed character there! absolutely awesome, it was so entertaining. one of the funniest movies i've seen lately, and I totally love all the real actors cameos.

and this... this part I so wish was a real movie XD :





i need that to be a real movie so badly! Robert Downey jr and Toby Maguire as gay priests??? Who could say no to that XD??????

i know i'm still emotionally compromised after watching that but...

what a joke that was. nothing worked. the forward wasn't sharp, the midfield outpassed, the defense a fecking circus. edwin is probably the only one leaving with a good score.

absolutely disappointed. they didn't have xabi anymore and stevie me suspended, we should've trashed and made a joke out of them. instead we were shown up.

blah. what a shitty way to end the weekend.

at least the match was entertaining enough to keep me till the end. and i was so looking forward for mowen time... :(. definitely going to stay away from the news for a few days now.

death toll so far is 75 people, expected to rise rapidly come morning when there will be lights and the search team can see and work better. The city of Padang Pariyaman is the worst hit and access to that city is totally closed due to landslide. Thousands of people still trapped in many places and a couple hotels and highrise buildings collapsed.

It always takes something tragic or dramatic to happen, like natural disasters, to make most of us realise just how small, how insignificant and powerless we really are, despite everything.

There was a 7.3 on a scale richter earthquake in West Java area yesterday, which tremors could be felt all the way to East Java and the Bali island. The tremors were quite strongly felt in Jakarta, enough to make people run out of office buildings in panic, enough to make crack appears in many high rise buildings and windows cracking.

I watched the news when I got home from work today and there have been 50+ casualties so far, with god knows how many more still missing. there are villages completely burried by sliding soil/earth in the area around the center of the quake. there was a heavily pregnant woman who lost her husband and her first child, there was a man who lost his whole family including his newly born daughter he hadn't met yet because he worked in another city. And that's just to mention two of the probably countless heartbreaking story in the aftermath of the quake.

It is made evenmore tragic because we are in the middle of the holy month of Ramadhan, and doubtless many of the victims and their families there were looking forward to celebrating the Eid that would come in around two weeks.

Rest in peace, those who perished. And may those who are left behind are given strength and perseverance by God to deal with their losses and sorrow.
